    Hi,??
    Let me just point you to this guy Sam Feltham. An ambitious Young Entrepreneur who did a Self-Experiment every Biohacker or Quantified Self Fan has to be jealous of. He ate at one point 5000+ Calories EVERY Day for 21 Days of Full Fat Foods. Meaning Lean Meat, Vegetables and Nuts maybe not Bulletproof but Paleo to a large extend and rigorously tracked his Bodyweight, Waistline and Bodyfat composition over the course.

    The Results are nothing short of amazing.

    Even though he ate more than two times the recommended Calories for a grown man he only gained 1,3 kg and even LOST in waistline.??

    Being naturally athelitc and lean one could say his genetics are the reason.??Maybe he is one of those rare guys that never gains a pound, no matter what he eats. ?
    Well how about maybe he’s not.??

    So this guy did a follow up experiment where he ate 5000+ Calories on a Standard American Diet, Cereal in the Morning, TV Dinners in the Evening and little chocolate Snacks and sugary Drinks in between.??What happened ?

    He gained weight like Submarine being flooded.??

    I encourage everyone to read these Articles because to me they are way more worth than Expert Opinions, Scientific Studies and Decades of different Health Myths and prevalent Doctor Narratives about optimal Health. This is the stuff that makes me change my eating habits instantly.

    If your body gladly absorbs 2 times your normal intake of Full Fat Food and even gets healthier (even though he gained one kilo, loosing waistline still means decreasing risk of first world deseases to a large extend) and your body absolutely rejects Carbohydrate, Sugary food and throws it so much out of balance that you get fat incredibly fast,? I cannot go through the supermarket Isles the way I did before.?

    Dave brought me on the Full Fat train half a year ago and this guy Sam Feltham cemented the tracks for me.

    ?There is no going back.

    I’m 5ft 7 and 125lbs and I’ve been struggling getting any decent
    amount of calories on the bulletproof diet(a problem I admittedly had on
    the Standard American Diet as well). I often feel satiated way before I
    reach any significant amount of Calories(1500 Calories is a day where I
    feel I’ve pushed myself). What tips do you have for someone who’s body
    seem intent on keeping them lean? What would an average day in the
    bulletproof diet look like?

    When I listened to this very interesting podcast, I “thought” that the Calorie Myth approach was basically the same as the “Bulletproof” approach – until I started reading more on Bailor’s websites. There I found that both approaches are against sugar and grains, but after that the differences are substantial. When the grains and sugars are removed, Bailor replaces them with protein. BP replaces them more with fat. I would love to hear a discussion about the pros/cons of those two choices. Protein vs fat – very substantial difference in the programs and a bit difficult to figure out which is really better.

      I think it is because if you have over your daily requirement of protein that it actually triggers a rise in insulin… but that is only if it is in excess. I think that is why the Bulletproof diet opts for fat instead of protein.
